Do as I say, not as I did and these knobs work, as described
These work but read this, first! So, I know many things but have very little practical experience with guitar knobs or at least I did? I am now more of an expert? Do as I say, not as I did! My first mistake came when I put these new knobs onto my new Gibson SG guitar ... The knobs that were on it came off with great difficulty but I ignored that and tried to muscle these 'plastic' knobs (that's the first warning) onto the shafts as they were! Big mistake, huge! They did go on but the wobbled and the fourth one actually cracked internally such that it was visible through the top of the knob! Opps! OK, live and learn? So, I removed them and looked closer at the shafts and realized that they were split down the middle so that I could carefully squeeze them together using pliers and then the knobs just slipped on with very little effort. In fact, using a flat bladed screw driver blade to carefully (you don't want to break off one side of the shaft!!!) expand the middle slot, you can actually adjust them to get the perfect fit ... not to firm but not too loose. The price of these as an add-on Prime item is so low that ordering a second set to replace the damaged one is not a problem! But, my ordeal wasn't over, quite yet! The next challenge is to rotate each of the shafts, as far as it will go, counter clockwise and then put the knobs on such that the 0 of each faces the same direction on your guitar. Naturally, I did the opposite of this so it seemed like the numbers were on in the wrong order until I figured out my stupid mistake! My SG Future Tribute's chrome metal knobs will stay in it's gig bag for the next owner but meanwhile, I can now see and precisely set my controls to the setting that I prefer! These are great looking knobs and I highly recommend them!

Perfect import sized knobs
These knobs are a fantastic value. Quality is on par with stock knobs. Came in a small Ziploc baggie. Knobs had protective plastic over the top of each knob and were in perfect condition. These are a direct fit for metric course spline knobs only. It seems most of the complaints were from people forcing these knobs onto fine spline American posts. These knobs are a little shorter than the standard gibson speed knob but are still easy to grab and read. Look great on a guitar where lower profile is needed. They are perfect on an import es335.

Good, but Not Identical to Gibson
If you are ordering these to replace one or two of your Gibson Speed knobs, you will want to replace all four because they are not identical to Gibson's. In all fairness, these could possibly be BETTER than Gibson's stock, seem to be made with a more solid underside, but the numbers are a little bit smaller. This is the only reason I gave them four stars. Fit perfectly on CTS potentiometers and if you replace all four of them, nobody except you will know! -lol. All four of mine were fine with no apparent flaws or defects, as opposed to other reviews. If you get these and they aren't perfect...send them back until you get a perfect set! It's free! Hope this helps...not much else to say!

Very nice looking
All four were perfect, nice clear acrylic with high gloss black 3D appearance and the numbers were clean and crisp. They were a tight fit, a little too tight such that once they are on, they are not coming off. If I have to remove them for some reason, it won't be pretty. I would buy this brand again.

Control knobs for a Les Paul 'play & look-a-like' mfg by Washburn.
Bought this project guitar in a 'going out of business' music store. Rather a frequent occurance in King Putt's economy. Hope & Change is all you'll have. Knobs came from China and are well made. Fit the pot shafts of the guitar great and look & function much better than the originals. Funny though, the packaging had a very complicated label and obviously went thru some customs inspection. Bet the 'government entities' spent a LOT more time & money (ours sadly) 'checking out the content' than I did in procuring the knobs.

Great product!
Replaced the "witchhat" amber knobs on my Epiphone 2009 Les Paul Standard. I did the same thing on my Gibson Goldtop 1969 Les Paul Deluxe in the early '70's with original Gibson parts. These are fantastic and just as good as the Gibson equiv. All ya'll who put these on and said they were fragile, I don't see it. Do this: remove your old ones with a shoestring (wrapping it around the old ones once and pull, they'll pop right off without breaking). Then, hold the new ones between your fingers in position, having set the knob axle either all the way open or all the way off for 10 or 0 and aimed just where you want the numbers, next, take a small rubber mallet, give it a good sharp tap...the knob will go right on straighter than the factory knobs were. No problem, better than new and looks classy! Did I mention, the price is right? You can't go wrong here.

Don't buy if you have CTS pots.
Quality is right about where the price should be. They are after all, knobs. A point that folks should be aware of, these are made to fit cheap MIC pots (which are metric, and only a fraction smaller than SAE pots), not CTS pots (mojotone, DiMarzio etc). To clarify, when I say CTS I am not referring to custom taper, I am referring to the manufacturer CTS.

Nice knobs
I bought these to spice up a cheap guitar I just bought and man do they look sweet. The fit is good and they do what they were designed for. The description says they are for a Les Paul but I put these on a Viper and they work. The shafts for the stock knobs are just a hair under a quarter of an inch and these fit just like the stock ones. I didn't have to force them on and they're not loose. Quick, easy way to change the look of your guitar.

Hacen el trabajo, ya que la verdad se ve muy mal tener tu guitarra sin las tapas... Y esta es la solución a un buen precio.

Easy to fit and make my guitar look younger & fresher - well worth the few pennies they cost to lift the look and easier to see the setting while wearing the guitar.
