The Cut mat is great OLFA quality. It is a wonderful tool when cutting angles and complicated pieces when quilting. I highly recommend this product!

This is a great addition to my sewing room! The base is “sticky” and never moves from where I set it. The top rotates smoothly and there is no “lump” under the center, as some other brands have. The mat self heals beautifully. This has made squaring my quilt blocks SO much easier and more accurate. And faster! I love this little tool!

I'm honestly questioning my sanity for not having bought one of these sooner. I do a lot of paper piecing quilting. Mostly 10" square or smaller stuff. I also live in a 400sq foot tiny home. So quilting is already challenging. Having the space to do quilting is kinda an insane challenge. Setting up a cutting table to run around without having to reset my fabric and rulers all the time is just flat impossible. Enter this Olfa rotating cutting mat. It's made my quilting life so much easier. It rotates easily but not too easily. It's texture holds the fabric steady while you're rotating the mat and/or rulers around. There is no bump in the middle when you're cutting across the center of the mat. My cuts disappear as fast as I make them. Mat care is simple. Don't store it where heat or cold could warp the mat. Store it in the "closed" position. Yes it has a plexiglass backing to help it be stable but why tempt fate? These things aren't cheap. When I think of all the headaches this mat could have saved me if I'd only bought it sooner. Ugh. It's an outstanding product. I highly recommend it.

One of my must-have tools in my sewing room. I use this when squaring up half square triangles mostly, but also when I'm trimming scraps to usable sizes. It is small enough to be easy to store, but large enough to be useful for most tasks. It is self healing and lasts for years. It rotates smoothly and easily but doesn't spin while you're cutting.

I needed a rotation cutting mat fast for a next days class. The 12 x 12 was perfect as we were to cut 10 x 10 fabric squares into 4 pieces then into 4 more. The mat turns nicely and a quality item. One happy customer.

This is an amazing tool for quilting. It allows you to do precision cuts from multiple directions. I like the latter size so if you are doing 2 inch or 12 inch, you have the space to do it. Highly recommend.

I originally wanted a rotary mat to cut Dresden blades and this was the cheapest. Nevertheless it needed to be good quality. I've not been disappointed. I've been impressed with the surface of this mat as so far it hasn't sustained any cut marks at all, unlike my main mat. In fact I've been so impressed with it I've now bought a standard mat for my general cutting. As well as cutting Dresden blades the rotary mat is really useful for cutting triangles and other small shapes for patchwork. I haven't used it for cutting appliqué shapes yet but I can see it would be much easier to use this rotary mat rather than the big standard mats.

Eine sehr gute Matte, die allerdings zu Beginn einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch verströmte. Das gesamte Zimmer roch im Nu nach Kunststoff wie man es von Luftmatratzen kennt. Da hilf nur mehrmonatigen an die Luft stellen jetzt geht es einigermaßen. Die Funktionalität ist hervorragend, ebenso die Qualität und Größe.
