I love these products. I've replaced all of my outdoor hose connections with these fantastically engineered devices. No leaks, good value, easy to install, and to use.

Excellent connector. No leaks whatsoever for nearly six years. The levers work well to stop the water flow. I was not sure about durability when I purchased this in June 2015 but I'd been generally very happy with Gardena products in general and it is only now in May 2021 that the connector has failed as there is a slight leak from one arm - just a drip, drip, drip leak but enough to warrant buying a new one unless there is some sort of o ring or seal that can be replaced. Functionality has been great as I love the quick disconnect feature

Have been using this for about a year. It is very well constructed, have had no problems with leaking or drippping from it. Attached securely to my spout and it weathered through a couple freezes this past winter. Highly recommend!

I'm surprised no one has picked up on this, but in order to connect a hose to this, you need a female connector, and that means you will need another at the other end in order to make it useful or water will continue to run after disconnecting your nozzle or sprinkler. Once I thought this out, any hose splitter with shutoffs would work if you screwed a female adapter to the splitter or right to the faucet for that matter. I want to use regular hoses with these adapters, in addition to my Gardena hose reel which has a female adapter on the internal hose. No connecting to that unless you get a hose to hose connector. Having to figure out how to make this work and buy the necessary adapters negates the value of using the quick disconnect system.

I received a 36938-G. I don't know if te -G denotes the newer darker-grey color scheme or the fact that it comes with two free hose end connectors clipped onto the Gardena-male outlets: springloaded Gardena-female (without disconnect stop valve) to male-gardenhose-thread adapters, like what you'd put on the faucet-end of a hose to Gardenafy it. Or it provides the spare you need to clip this splitter onto a faucet with Gardena-male nozzle (needed for free rotation of the splitter, the single issue other reviews note). The quarter-turn ball valves have the same inside diameter as the male ends, so no worse additional restriction than that.

Works flawlessly. Levers are easy to turn and no leaks.

Changed these so my wife can change the water over. Easy to do. She doesn’t have strong hands. The built in connector couplings are nice as well.

Works great, but this is my 2nd unit. 1st unit only last 2 years. The plastic got crack after less than 2 years. Yes I did drain all the water out before winters. Strongly recommend you store the Y-Valve and most Gardena equipment in an indoor room temperature environments during winters month.

Bon produit mais par contre magasiner avant d'acheter. Dans les grands magasins de rénovation le produit était entre 16 et 18.00$ dollars au lieu de 36.00$ sur Amazon. Un peu déçu.
