So yes, I bought these at full price on Amazon because I needed a pair of neutral wedges and I wanted the quality that this brand traditionally offers. And they are of high quality. The leather is the perfect neutral color. The details are exquisite, from the beautiful way the leather is folded around the base of the wedge and the lovely button detail on the back of the shoe. Here's the problem- they weigh A TON. There is no way that a normal person could do anything but walk gingerly and at a snails pace in this shoe. As such, instead of feeling summery and fun, I feel like I'm walking on 2 cement blocks. Such a disappointment!! Standing still, I'm a supermodel. Taking a step, I'm walking in quicksand. Unfortunately I bought and wore them on a vacation before realizing just how heavy they were, so with the sole being scuffed I felt I couldn't return them. Bye bye $300. Hello leg weights.
