Alilang Empress Monarch Winged Butterfly Crystal Rhinestone Brooch Pin

08/06/13 the eye-catching brooch, a purple-winged Monarch butterfly arrived promptly, and well packaged in a small blue gift box with a white ribbon and bow tied to the box lid only. So the ribbon stays in place when you open the box and it can easily be repurposed. Inside the decorative box there was thick black foam padding to securely protect the Swarvoski Rhinestone pin during mailing. I bought the adorable crystal rhinestone butterfly pin to wear as a brooch on windbreakers and light jackets. It had a shabby sheik appeal to me. The pin is made with fuschsia, rose, light blue, white and clear rhinestones. The metal base for the crystals is only silver tone plated metal with a safety pin type closure, which explains the price. Be prepared for sparkle, lots of sparkle from this inexpensive piece of jewelry! This brooch is a whimsical dazzler! I have only worn the brooch twice. Once on a jeans jacket, and then on a black/white/lavender windbreaker. Both times it garnered plenty of attention from my companions and strangers and isn’t that why we purchase pins like this in the first place? We want to be noticed. The pin was a little bigger than I imagined it was but its not too big and I’m very satisfied with the purchase! I would not hesitate to give this piece of jewelry as a gift.

It's exactly what I expected. the brilliance of its colors, i got the purple butterfly its absolutely beautiful in person!!! the pin is strong and well made. I know it will hold and not slip off.

I bought this as a gift for my aunt who loves butterflies and pins. It is very pretty and a decent size (it will be noticed!). It came in a gift box making it easy for gift giving. It certainly makes for a nice Easter/Springtime pin but easily can be worn year round. It's sparkly but not in a cheap way. Very nice and highly recommend.

The brooch arrived very nicely boxed and presented. Had it been a gift for someone I wouldn'the of even needed to wrap it. I had purchased it for a special occasion and could not have been more pleased with the quality and brilliance of the pin. Awesome find for a great price.

I bought this for my childhood bestfriends funeral. She was a fan of butterflies. She had a purple tattoo on her lower leg. I remember the day she showed me she got it. It brought her so much joy because she associated it with her 1st born. I wanted a symbol to have at her funeral. I got lots of compliments and it brought joy to be able to really explain the story behind it. The butterfly took my breath away when I saw it in person. Its beautiful! It's something I will keep forever in the memory of my bestie.

Excellent brooch. I know for a fact how hard it is to determine if you're getting the right thing, but this brooch (I purchased it in pink for my sister) is a very good bet. Craftsmanship is excellent for this type of brooch. The color is excellent. The size is excellent (neither too large or too small), and it is not too heavy. Overall, if you are looking for a tasteful and beautiful brooch, and you like the shape and look of this butterfly, then you just can't go wrong. Also, it arrive boxed very nicely for gifting (which is the reason why I bought it).

The brooch was delivered quickly and came in a sturdy box, with a bow and protective foam. The brooch itself is smaller than expected, but very pretty, detailed, and seems of good quality. The metal is sturdy and the gems feel well adhered. No problems so far with missing or broken pieces. I ordered the butterfly in the purple colour and it really sparkles! I look forward to wearing it.

Just gorgeous! I ordered this to wear on a dress for my father-in-law’s birthday celebration this weekend to commemorate my MIL who passed away a few months ago. It’s so sparkly and elegant and I’ll transfer it over to my brown winter coat after the celebration.

My daughter bought me this as a Christmas gift to complete my Christmas outfit. When I opened the box it dazzled and sparkled and the magpie in me was delighted. the pic does not do it justice. Delicate yet bold, detailed and luxurious.
