So much extra utility, For a few cents more. The darker colored side adds durability and is useful when high reflectivity(light and/or heat) is not desired. The larger size means you could cover a second person or potentially improvise a shelter. In their individual zip bags they're very compact. Me, I put a few pieces of all weather tape, some cordage and book of matches/few birthday candles maybe a taped snap blade right in the zip bag.

Appears to be high quality, but we have left them sealed in their durable original package to reduce space in a vehicle emergency storage container. Very compact and easy to store or carry until needed.

I am in a retirement community, and in charge of a particular floor of residents, and I bought these over sized emergency thermal blankets to hand out in event of an emergency. They are a perfect folded size to put in emergency kits, and I like the fact they are over sized, strong and a great price!

I use these for my indoor garden to reflect light. They do a good job. They are a little thin so be careful not to rip them.

I purchased these to give them to the homeless Neighbors in our city along with sleeping bags and other items. I was told that they work. They are good quality, good value for the money. The color reminds me of aluminum foil. They’re not too thick but I suppose they’ll be a bit of protection I within the sleeping bags. I keep a few for my car in case of an emergency l.

Wonderful gift for family to put in their vehicles. Came in handy when the snow and ice storm hit. Our electricity was out.
